Roughrider Electric Cooperative welcomes Olander as our newest apprentice lineworker

Roughrider Electric Cooperative is proud to welcome Mason Olander to our team.

Olander joins the cooperative with a solid agricultural background and a strong work ethic shaped by years of hands-on experience. He grew up in Stanton, where he worked throughout high school for a rancher, gaining valuable experience working with cattle and understanding the demands of rural, outdoor work.

Olander later attended Bismarck State College’s Lineworker Program, preparing him for the next step in his career. Upon obtaining his Lineworker Certificate, he worked for Roughrider Electric as seasonal help for two summers building relationships with members and becoming familiar with the service area and cooperative practices.

Olander was drawn to this position for the opportunity to work outside and is most excited about working alongside a great group of guys as he begins this new role with the cooperative.

Outside of work, Olander continues to enjoy working with cattle, a passion that has been part of his life since growing up in agriculture.

Please join us in welcoming Mason Olander to the Roughrider Electric Cooperative team.
